_Position Summary_
Own the restructure Process:
Proactively communicate with tax and legal groups to understand purpose and intent of restructures to enable good planning of
accounting
actions
Communicate with Treasury and the Financing and Global Reporting teams early in the restructure process to avoid surprises at the time of the transaction
Understand the US GAAP and statutory impacts of restructures and communicate with respective MELE owners and accounting teams
Support restructures through the preparation of white papers and other documentation
Evaluate the restructure tool and challenge current process to achieve maximum efficiency
Collaborate with ledger owners to review tax accounts and connect them to balances and tax implications
Monthly Tax Provision:
Own the provision and develop knowledge around each provision
Commit to adequate review of monthly provision to ensure that appropriate analysis is taking place and to reduce provision to return differences
Challenge the current process in order to continue improving it and creating more time for analysis/review
Understand the business activity - seek knowledge from ledger accountants in order to understand tax implications
Quarterly Reporting:
Work with tax teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in our reporting
Understand the tax balances and proactively work to clean them up
Complete/review quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
Prepare and review tax payments for foreign, federal and state jurisdictions including the internal rebill process
Prepare/review year-end foreign and domestic tax packages used in the tax compliance/return process
A successful candidate will have the following characterstics:

_Qualifications_

Required
1
years of accounting experience in general ledger and/or tax accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation
Preferred
Income tax accounting experience (ACS 740)
Other income tax experience - corporate/partnership, foreign, state
Experience with Microsoft Excel
HFM & Oracle experience
CPA
Other Considerations
May be required to work beyond 8:00 am - 4:45 pm schedule
