Your unique role with the company: Work closely with engineering polymer product development team to drive extrusion and compounding process optimization through process tolerance studies and screw design support.
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Process Engineer is a valuable member of this plant, contributing to the manufacture of a new proprietary product from Nylon 6/6 through twin-screw extrusion.
You will be involved with start- up of new product line with 1compounding line and developing to 6 lines. You will work collaboratively on a 30 person team.
As part of a global cross-functional team, lead the scale up and production of new engineering polymer products from laboratory compounding equipment to pilot scale and to production compounding assets in site.
Provide technical operations support for the production of commercialized engineering polymer products at internal and external manufacturing locations in North America
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or relevant areas of study
Master's degree or higher preferred

years of Engineering Plastics extrusion or compounding experience
Experience utilizing Six Sigma and or Lean methodologies
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
