Seasonal Set Manager, responsible for the operation of a Photo Set on a daily basis. Ability to motivate employees and create a magical guest experience.
OVERVIEW
The Set Manager is a seasonal team leader, responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of a Noerr Programs (TNP) Photo set on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Financial accounting of all sales, Budgets, Hiring, Payroll, Costumes, and all aspects of Set Operations. Set Managers must be able to perform, train and coach every role on the set. The Set Manager must be able to motivate his or her employees to create a magical guest experience for every Guest.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to.
All Set Managers are required to pass a Background and DMV (Dept. of Motor Vehicle) check
Mandatory attendance of Set Manager Training scheduled prior to start of season.
Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising of Cast Members
Timely and accurate transmittal of required data/reports to the Noerr Programs:
1) Inventories
2) On-Line Schedules
3) Payroll
4) Pre-Season Hiring paperwork and Personnel changes during the Season
5) Hourly sales reporting to the Regional Manager
6) Daily sales reports
7) Nightly Transmission of data to Noerr Pole
8) Noerr Incident Reports When Required
Bank Deposits:
1) Make sure DAILY deposits of money are made.
2) Verify daily Bank deposit and credit card slips are included with daily financial paperwork
Follow all Noerr Programs Policies and Procedures.
Ensure equipment and inventory is set up, taken down, and secured appropriately. Make sure that supplies and consumables are not wasted
Supervise and Coach Cast Members on a day-by day basis to ensure that operations of the TNP Photo set runs smoothly, effectively and in accordance with all TNP policies & procedures.
Ensure the TNP Photo Set stays within that locations payroll budget.
Establish a good working relationship with your Regional Manager, Cast Members, (Including Santa/Bunny) Mall Marketing Director, Mall Manager and mall staff, building a positive image for the Noerr Programs at your center.
Professional attire (in costume during the Season) and good hygiene is required. Your personal appearance reflects on both you and the company.
Maintain and safeguard the following:
1) All Noerr/Mall materials and property
2) Equipment and Inventory.
Be thoroughly familiar with all of the training materials.
May be required to troubleshoot equipment where/when possible.
Prepare all Noerr equipment for safe storage and/or return to the Noerr Pole.
Ensure the Set is safe and that Cast Members understand and take responsibility for safety on the Set
Communicate with Regional Manager regarding all aspects of the TNP Photo Set including challenges, concerns and set needs.
Must be able and willing to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays, when the set is the busiest
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Supervisory experience and/or qualities
Retail experience
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business forms
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, cast, customers, and the general public
Strong Communication Skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proven customer service skills.
TEAMWORK skills: Ability to build, manage, motivate and lead a TEAM.
Able to prioritize, manage time and orchestrate multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to handle intense situations.
Ability to operate Cameras, POS system and other equipment as required
Ability to problem solve effectively in a variety of situations and circumstances
Prior experience and facility with Microsoft Excel
Basic math skills
Daily access to a computer and internet
Familiarity with and ability to use the internet
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Ability to Supervise Cast Members.
Ability to motivate others through persuasion and leadership
Train and provide Instructions, Verbal and Written, effectively
Hiring, Terminating and completing employee and set evaluations
Develop an effective working relationship with all cast members, as well as Santas.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Nature of work environment: Typically a traditional mall environment, but in certain areas, some sets are outdoor sets, with minimal HVAC accommodation.
Professional attire (Costumes Must be worn during the season): minimal jewelry (one ring or small single stud earrings), no visible tattoos; good hygiene required
Number of hours per work day/week: This is a full-time position for a brief period of up to 10 weeks. The required hours per week will vary from situation to situation, but will generally range from at least 40 hours to 60 hours per week with Friday - Sunday must work days.
Occasional Overnight travel may be required
Location: Wichita , KS 67212Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
