Responsibilities:
Lead the Site Overall Operations to drive the application of the company's business philosophy to develop the culture driven to achieve continuous performance improvements in EHS, Compliance, Reliability, Efficiency and Capital Effectiveness (Operational Excellence)
Advance the company's compliance expectation (10,000% compliance) and Operations aligning with the company's risk profile
Proactively embrace the company's EH&S philosophy, ensuring each employee understands and manages key risks within their control
Leads, develops and executes profit driven site plans that leverage site capabilities in a way that maximizes division value
Develops site personnel and implements operating systems and work processes consistent with management philosophies and frameworks
Coordinates with off site support functions (EH&S, HR, Accounting) and commercial personnel to assure plans and resource deployment are aligned with business objectives
Implements continuous improvement strategies that yield sustainable results
Reports to the Director of Manufacturing for Engineering Polymer Solutions
Is responsible for the operating performance of the site including compliance, environmental, health and safety, operations and plant culture
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Sciences, or a business discipline
A minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in a compounding or extrusion production/manufacturing setting
Preferred Previous Knowledge and
Experience:
Operating plan development and execution aligned around the key drivers of operations excellence- EHS, Reliability, Production (cost, quality, and yield) Capital; coaching; team development/performance management; gap analysis; aligning operating metrics with desired performance; continuous improvement
Develops a network of relationships with suppliers, contractors, trade association personnel and community contacts
Interacts with Senior Leadership (Operations and Commercial), networks with other site leadership team members, plant personnel and support staff
Constructed and started up a Greenfield Manufacturing Facility




Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
