Development Associate

Quick Apply Full-time Full Job Description Exploration Place, the state's premier science center, seeks a full-time Development Associate to assist with fundraising activities, including research, recording and acknowledging donations and maintaining donor files.
The development associate will be part of the museum's vibrant development team that is at the heart of a project to create a destination playscape on the 20-acre riverfront site, aimed at increasing attendance from the current 400,000 site visitors per year to 1 million plus.
Responsibilities include:
processing incoming grants and gifts, coordinating direct mailings for donors and annual fund appeal, coordinating development events and assisting with the reporting requirements of grants and gifts.
This salaried position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, excellent verbal and customer service skills, well-developed software skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Experience in development is a plus.
General work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
