PAYME003114 Showing 1 location Job Details Description PAYMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST The candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting the banks internal and external customers through daily involvement in payment operations.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the banks Automated Clearing House (ACH) functions by processing incoming and outgoing ACH files; performing daily wire functions, including processing outgoing wire requests from branches, internal departments and commercial online banking, as well as posting incoming wires, providing telephone and email support to other bank employees, and performing other account maintenance.
The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and/or reviewing daily reports; processing ACH disputes; and ensuring the department adheres to regulatory guidelines.
Requirements for the position include a high school diploma (or equivalent), a Bachelors degree in a business related field is preferred, excellent customer service skills, the ability to anticipate needs, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work late and/or flexible hours is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
