Logistics Support Representative - Vietnam (OCONUS)

Summary:
This role is contingent upon contract award & forecast a start date of September 2023.
Represent Textron Aviation Defense Services and Sustainment Organization, providing logistics support to the Contractor Operated & Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) for the Vietnam T-6 FMS program.
This position manages and performs all COMBS logistics services as described in the contract working directly with internal and external customers.
The manager will establish COMBS operation at Phan Thiet, Vietnam location for up to three years and be responsible for storing, securing, and managing consumables, parts, and spares.

Responsibilities:
Ability to read and comprehend aircraft technical publications, schematic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Communicate logistic concepts clearly to the customer, keeping customer service and experience paramount while responsibly handling proprietary information.
Manage the development and implementation of spare parts shipping/receiving/storage/inventory procedures in line with customer needs.
Analyze customer operational usage data to:
Provide Monthly demand projections for the COMBS T-6 spares usage needs Communicate areas of concern identified in the data to TA Defense home office in Wichita, Kansas.
Maintain, track, and provide calibrated tooling availability status while identifying shortfalls and concerns.
Direct, track, and provide hazardous material availability to include shipping/receiving and storage.
Verifies all parts acceptance and outbound for repair documentation is accurate and complete.
Provide communications, analysis of usage data, suggested improvements, and various other data to the customer and home office.
Provide recommendations for adjustments.
Interacts with customers, sub-contractors, and plans and scheduling (P&S) to ensure calendar and hourly inspection parts are available.
Participate in and provide logistics support/briefs to various customer and management levels.

EDUCATION/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Aviation, Logistics, Program/Project Management or other related fields and 2 years related experience, or in lieu of a degree, 7 years of experience in aviation program/project management, aviation logistics/supply chain, or related military role required.
Preferred experience/certifications:
Relative experience in aviation logistics/supply support and/or military or technical hands-on training preferred Green Belt, Black Belt, or Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) certification is preferred A&P license is preferred.
T6 A/B/C model aircraft experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
Strong command of MS Office tools and SAP.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort working OCONUS without close management support.
Adaptability in dealing with foreign customers who are technically focused as well as those focused on business processes.
Current valid passport is required.
Willing to report as an expatriate in Vietnam, travel outside of the reporting location required less than 10% of the time The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
