Typical hours of a John Deere Instructor are M-F 7:
30am-4:
30pm.
40 hrs/week, no OT expected.
Located on site but travel may be required.
There will be minimal domestic travel required to support other training centers and support Certified Dealer Instructors Top Must Haves:
o Strong knowledge of Agriculture equipment and/or precision technologyo Demonstrated professional communication skills:
ability to create, and deliver challenging content which is engaging and effective in simple terms to attendees.
o Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage meetings with subject matter experts, meet delivery deadlines and understand a variety of products and systems.
Individuals will develop and deliver training mainly for John Deere Dealership Personnel but will also include company personnel, and customers.
Training sessions include but are not limited to.
technical, parts, and/or professional skills with heavy emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies.
Instructors will be teaching technical and parts training to dealership employees on Ag and lawn equipment that John Deere produces.
Instructor will present both in person and virtual sessions using PowerPoint instruction for in the classroom courses and Adobe Connect for virtual training.
Parts training will have opportunities to develop and update creative and engaging content.
In person classes are typically 2 days long with 2 classes taught per week.
While virtual courses are between four and eight hours long.
Students are technicians and parts professionals from dealerships throughout the country.
Strong candidates are entry level candidates with AG degrees, equivalent work experience, technicians or parts professionals with a demonstrated commitment for lifelong learning.
o Education Preferred:
o Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in an Education discipline or Agriculture (AgriBusiness, Communication, Ag Ed, etc.
)o JD TECH or like Technical degree would also be acceptable o Years of Experience Required:
o 1-5 years Specific Software:
o Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite such as PowerPoint as well as learn department-specific computer programs (i.
e PartsAdvisor, CCMS) Training Instructor - Manufacturing/Agriculture Recommended Skills Adobe Connect Coordinating Microsoft Office Professional Communication Teaching Continuous Training Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
