PDS is seeking a FAA Technician - Electronic for an open position in Wichita, KS.
In your role, you will:
Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components.
Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts.
Ensure systems and components meet established specifications.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Perform a variety of tasks.
Work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalent.
May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Soldering skills a must, should have some type of electrical background.
Surface Mount soldering
Through Hole
Fine Pitch
Comm/Nav/RF experience would be a plus.
component level repair experience
