Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC (KAES) is looking for an Associate to join its Strategy & Business Development team. To capitalize on Koch's unique growth potential, KAES' Strategy & Business Development Group provides point-of-view development, origination, structuring, analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence capabilities while leading and assisting merger & acquisition transactions, ventures, commercial agreements and organic growth opportunities. The Strategy & Business Development Associate position will have the opportunity to support the growth of KAES' portfolio companies including Koch Fertilizer, Koch Energy Services, Koch Methanol and future step-out business. This position offers exposure to senior-level business management and focused mentoring and development.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Financial analysis and modeling of acquisition target companies.
Assisting in point-of-view (PoV) development on target industries and/or sectors.
Performing industry research and competitive analysis related to potential acquisitions and divestitures.
Business development ownership of capital projects and certain organic growth opportunities.
Identifying and assessing key profit drivers, risks and synergies related to potential transactions.
Preparing and presenting management approval documents.
Ownership of KAES's internal valuation analyses.
100% compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
What You Will Need:
3
years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking or private equity
Experience building 3 statement financial models and a solid understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skill
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel (Ex: Financial modeling)
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
