Responsibilities:
oManage and optimize our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
oOversee the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices and standards.
oMonitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and usage trends to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
oImplement and maintain robust security measures and compliance standards to protect our cloud environment and data.
oPlan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
oWork closely with vendors and service providers to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
oLead a team of cloud operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to foster a high-performing and collaborative culture.
oDevelop and implement policies and procedures for cloud operations, including change management, incident response, and problem resolution.
oStay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and recommending strategic improvements.
oCollaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring they are consistently met or exceeded.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents or outages as needed.

EDUCATION/
Experience:
oBachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, Master's degree a plusoMinimum of 7 years IT and/or business experience requiredoExperience with managing teams or projects preferredoProven experience managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure in a large-scale production environment preferred
Qualifications:
oStrong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
oHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management tools and technologies, including automation, configuration management, and monitoring.
oIn-depth understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
oExcellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
oStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
oExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
oExperience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is preferred.
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator, are a plus.
