Transportation Worker
Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the shipment execution process for customers and client Business Units.
This includes collecting, preparing, maintaining, and sending various required documentation to assure scheduled shipments are carried out in an efficient manner.
Also monitor and communicate delivery status of shipments to Sales, customers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
This position resolves general return and diversion issues.
Collects, reviews, and organizes carrier documentation related to service charges.
Principal Accountabilities 50% Monitor pickups and deliveries, communicating delays & reasons to sales and carriers.
Respond to routine inquiries, Manage returns, diversions and order changes, and documentation of late deliveries.
40% Compile, review, and organize documentation related to carrier service incidents.
10% Other Duties as Assigned, including collecting data for monthly scorecard and carrier service monitoring.
Skills/Competencies:
Tendering of freight Microsoft office SAP a plus Quick learner Attention to detail.
Communication skills Demonstrate knowledge and proper skills associated with the department's defined specific populations Resolve hazardous material issues and discrepancies;.
Conduct routine environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with the University's hazardous material management programs Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Maintain moving light equipment and systems Assist with preparation of the supplies, room and equipment for surgical procedures Maintain a database of SARA Title III listed materials Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees become aware which of immediately to immediate supervisor or the Executive Director Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifest and land disposal restrictions notifications Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment Supporting the nursing staff in maintaining a therapeutic milieu by performing routinely assigned tasks and carrying out patient care activities within the scope of the MHT's training and experience Ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space Maintain a safeand professional standard for patient care in accordance with JointCommission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies andprocedures and PI Standards Perform other tasks as directed by management Obtaining, labeling and transporting samples (e.
