Responsibilities:
Drawing blood specimens from patients by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques.
Ensuring patient safety during the blood sample procedure.
Label the blood samples correctly for laboratory testing.
Ensuring the sanitization of all equipment and maintaining the cleanliness of the phlebotomy area.
Interfacing with patients to clarify critical information and respond to their inquiries effectively.
Liaising between patients, doctors, and laboratories while ensuring the accurate and timely collection and delivery of samples.
Advocating and adhering to the healthcare organization's compliance standards and regulations.
Participating in educational updates to maintain a clinical edge and knowledge of recent industry developments.

Qualifications:
Must possess a clean background check and drug screening.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, and staff.
Submit High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Demonstrate a passion for providing quality care and maintaining dignity of patients.
Strong physical endurance for assisting patients in activities of daily living.
Must be able to lift and transfer patients safely.
Willingness to undergo training.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
