Summary:
The Cashier and Quick Serve Counter Attendants are responsible for always providing prompt and friendly food and beverage service to all our guestsThe FOH Team Members interact with guests and staff cordially, efficiently, and professionally, helping them understand our menu offerings and take orders accuratelyTeam members will communicate with each other to fulfill guest food orders and ensure the food meets the guest's expectationsResponsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, collecting payments, and/or washing dishes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-:
oMaintain a gracious, pleasant, and friendly attitude while contributing to a team-work based environmentoBe customer service-oriented and detail-orientedoDemonstrate ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructionsoAdhere to the company dress and appearance policyoAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesoEnsure the highest quality preparation and presentation of all served food itemsoGuide guests through food, beverage, and promotional items.
oPresent an accurate guest check, accept payment and quickly complete the transaction.
oResponsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area beginning, during, and at the end of each shiftoUtilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) or kitchen tickets effectively to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and build sales.
oAccurately input orders into the POS, responsible for receiving accurate payment and balancing cash.
oFollow standard hygiene and clothing protocol to maintain a professional appearance at all timesoPosition requires slip-resistant shoes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferredExperience in Food Preparation/Service preferred -but not required for considerationWill be required to submit to E-Verify screening and pass a background check as required by Homeland Security and MSE Branded Foods.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires regular attendance as scheduled in accordance with company labor needs; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
; requires the ability to tolerate significant temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutionsThis job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to read and write and speak the English language.
