ESCROW PROCESSOR Job Overview:

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Reviewing consumer and commercial escrow calculations to determine accuracy of the calculations for record set-up at origination Analyzing consumer and commercial escrow accounts and pay insurance and taxes when due Providing feedback to loan assistants and loan officers on new escrow loans Obtaining and paying insurance, tax, and private mortgage insurance bills Providing accurate answers to questions regarding escrow information Force placing flood and hazard insurance as needed.
Requirements for the position include:
A high school diploma (or equivalent) A minimum of 5 years of experience in a lending environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in both Word and Excel computer programs Basic accounting skills and the ability to perform at a high level of accuracy Preferred qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor's degree in business related field (may be waived in lieu of experience) EO/AA Employer:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
