Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Substance Abuse

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' substance abuse issues, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices, to guide clients on their path to recovery.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to deliver high-quality care remotely.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic treatment.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to address evolving needs.
- Educate clients and their families on substance abuse, recovery principles, and coping strategies.
- Advocate for clients by coordinating with external agencies, social services, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Earn credentials for Clinical License, supported by the organization's commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Specialized training or certification in substance abuse counseling.
- Experience in substance abuse counseling within a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in providing virtual therapy services.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
