Responsibilities:


  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' substance abuse issues, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices, to guide clients on their path to recovery.
  3. Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to deliver high-quality care remotely.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic treatment.
  5. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to address evolving needs.
  6. Educate clients and their families on substance abuse, recovery principles, and coping strategies.
  7. Advocate for clients by coordinating with external agencies, social services, and community resources.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  9. Earn credentials for Clinical License, supported by the organization's commitment to ongoing professional development.
  10. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:


  1. Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  2. Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  3. Specialized training or certification in substance abuse counseling.
  4. Experience in substance abuse counseling within a clinical setting.
  5. Proficiency in providing virtual therapy services.
  6. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  9. Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
