Key
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients with substance abuse disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
- Provide education and guidance on addiction recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Current licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., LCDC, LPC, LADC).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in substance abuse counseling or related field.
- Strong understanding of addiction dynamics, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and provide empathetic support.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries.
