Designs and develops manufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost and schedule requirements, and continuous improvement. Develops and defines concepts and processes for; and integral to, new product and product enhancement programs, and coordinates and integrates specialized processes and techniques into manufacturing. Develops and conducts moderately complex engineering projects which will obtain the most efficient and timely manufacturing process and provide technical support to production departments.
-Performs analysis for capacity planning, cost reduction and/or methods for process control.
-Coordinates and develops input to part process control through establishing control plans, process sheets, etc.
-Analyzes, documents, and implements recommendations for correction of process failures.
-Prepares plans and reports for utilization in management planning through independent work or developing procedures for others.
-Develops proposals for justification and review of capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment on line within cost and timing guidelines.
-Develops design concepts for individual parts and processes to improve cost or productivity.
-Researches and recommends new technologies, process improvements, cost reductions, and systems modifications.
-Works with Robot Technicians to develop programs for robotic welding cells. (Motoman & Fanuc robots).
-Accumulates and develops data to establish process data labor values directly or through instructions to others.
-Participates on new product launch or early warning teams.
-Provides assistance and technical support to the plant mainly in the area of welding production and other areas as required.
-Analyzes and follows-up on other plant and supplier quality problems as appropriate.
-Manages welding related projects in the areas of new product development, cost improvement and safety.
-Develops and utilizes skills necessary to serve as a leader or participate in a team environment.
-Manages robot technicians to develop programs for robotic welding cells
-Conducts and leads kaizen activities
-Develops and maintains project management schedules.
-Develops Process FMEAs.
-Active participation in World Class Manufacturing in the lines and areas responsible for.
Requirements
-B.S. Degree in Weld Engineering with emphasis in welding, materials and/or mechanical disciplines or equivalent work experience.
-3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a welding-related capacity
-Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and capabilities, including JIT, CAD, Quality planning tools, etc. Will require working in a variety of capacities including Tool, Industrial, Plant, Process and Manufacturing Engineering. .
-Working knowledge regarding process improvements and reengineering methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principals).
-Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
-Working knowledge of production scheduling and quality guidelines.
-Independent thinking is required.
Preferred
-Leadership experience would be a plus
-Working Knowledge of PRO-E desiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
