PDS is seeking a Design Engineer for an open position in Wichita, KS.
Will be working on simulator development. Need to be have strong CATIA drivers experience with systems installation experience.
Flight controls or mechanical systems is REQUIRED.
Top priority - CATIA mechanical design experience for component and assembly design, and drafting. CATIA V6 is preferred but strong V5 will be considered.
Other desired skills:
Experience with Flight Control Systems
Experience with CATIA GSM or ASM sheet metal workbenches
Experience with CATIA kinematics modeling and analysis tools
Experience with Interiors installations or AES Installations
Education and
Experience:
CATIA V5/V6 design and drafting proficiency (V6 preferred)
Engineering degree or 10 plus years of engineering experieince
A minimum of 3 years of aircraft design experience required.
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
