PDS is seeking a Technical Illustrator for an open position in Wichita, KS.
Job duties: The candidate will use CATIA, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop software to create and revise isometric and flat-plan technical illustrations of aircraft part details, assemblies, and installations, as well as schematics and charts. The illustrations will be created per the instructions of technical authors and department aesthetic guidelines. The candidate will work in conjunction with Tech Pubs illustrators in a team environment and must be capable of meeting continuous deadlines.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace or related technical field, CATIA V5 or later, Adobe Creative Suite, 5 Yrs Technical Illustration Experience, Knowledge of Engineering drawing/parts lists.
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
