It will be available on 11/1/23. This space is located on the third floor of a traditional foursquare home conveniently located just north of downtown Wichita in the historic midtown neighborhood. We are centrally located, making it easy to get anywhere in Wichita. We are also walking distance/minutes drive to Riverside Park, Botanica Gardens, the Keeper of the Plains, museums, Old Town and other attractions. The house has fenced in yards in the front and back and security system with cameras. There is parking in the driveway, in the street or in the back carport. Rent includes utilities and space for one car in backyard/carport or on the street as well as use of washer and dryer in basement laundry area. Storage space in basement or garage is also available if needed. I'm a full time medical student at the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I live on the 2nd floor and rent the first floor bedroom and bathroom to traveling nurses and other medical students. We all have different schedules and mostly keep to ourselves. I'm around most of the time, attending classes remotely or going to campus for labs. I share my home with five cats and a large, very affectionate dog named Jasper. I'm happy to consider your pet as well with a pet deposit. Jasper loves other dogs. We are pro-choice, pro-women and support BIPOC and LGBTQ rights. I am looking for someone respectful and quiet with similar sensibilities to share this lovely home. If you're not comfortable with dogs or cats then we aren't the best fit for you, however if you have a pet who is friendly with both dogs and cats, I am open to considering your pet with references and additional security deposit. The space is unfurnished for the most part, but there is a clothing armoire that can remain in the space as well as a rolling hanging rack for clothing. The mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven also stays with the space. We are interested in long term housemates, not short term.
